Thinking about selling my Pan at Wauseon this year. With all the different ways the scammers have to fake stuff, What's the safest way to sell something like that and know the moneys there? I know cash is king, but rarely am I that lucky.

Just use paypal and have them cover the fee. Paypal don't put money in your account until it's in theirs. Then again there's the tax thing. Any thing over 10Gs gets reported. Get cash! If they want it, It won't be a ploblem. Bob LLast edited by Robert Luland; 04-14-2012, 06:53 PM.

Regretfully there are more and more scams with PayPal all the time concerning unscrupulous buyers. The buyer is protected more than the seller and many instances are documented where a buyer claims a defect or damage and PayPal refunds their money. I hear where Robbie is coming from on this one. I recently sold some parts on ebay and since it had been awhile between my selling dates, they decided to hold my money for me! I gotta wait nearly a month before they'll let me know whether I get it or not! They blatantly say that it's to protect the buyer and insure that I shipped the items! I'd be holding out for cash on a bike sale.Cory Othen
