It looks like the officers of the Sunshine Chapter have made a very wrong decision. They are financially committed to do this meet. Hopefully they will see the error of their ways and return to Eustis. Perhaps they will learn to put it to a vote of their membership.

I am a dues paying member of the Sunshine chapter. I don't know why I enrolled in the local chapter because I have littel time to contribute to it but it felt right to support the "home team". I live closer to Samsula than I do Eustis. I really don't care where they have the meet - both venues are acceptable to me and I do beleive when all this ruckus dies down that they will be OK with everybody else. The nutcases (wannabe's, is be's and should be's) won't be down to the Volusia County area until the following week (us "used to be's" must be showing our age - I grew up in Laconia and then have been around here for 35+ years). But.........how did this happen? I did not get asked. I guess that is my biggest problem - not the change in venue.
I will still support the AMCA. I like what this club (on a national level) does and is. But locally? I do not think so anymore.
