i was there, and looked over the 12 harley rather well. it had a "B" after the numbers ,and the cylinder numbers matched. she was an amazing bike. i also know the guy who bought it and believe me he is not a fool. he was also bidding on the veritas, but graciously stepped aside,and let dale have it for a third of what it was worth.

Cool. Dale must have mistaken the "B" for an "E" in the video. Still a lot of money (IMO) for a fairly common motorcycle, though the shape was excellent. I lost a lunch bet on how much the Veratis would go for... I said 850k, other guy said 150k. That thing was insane.
