  • Actually I think the 46's ended up with late 42 badges. Tom Wilcock #381

    • Howdy Cory,

In a word no....now. Explanation as follows.

Having started to ramp up the search for a very dusty 46-earlier Knuckle to compliment my 46 Chief long (decades) on the back burner for this Indian/Vin rider, have started perusing the old HD forums here and at caimag. Am completely taken aback at the level of routine and authoritative expertise on this marque, quite frankly not often seen to that degree at my Indian hangouts.

So in case there are any of those in the Four camp lurking here I'll take the party line that 46's just share the original late 41-42 badges.
      Cheerio,

              • If you go to the HD Museum or its website you will see Pancho Villa on an Indian, and the story that the US govt. bought Harleys to chase Pancho.Don't they realize that they had 5,000 1916 Powerplus Indians doing the same thing. This photo shows them in use![IMG][/IMG]

                • Why the Davenport pennant on the pictures? Its not like you didn't copy them from the net.
