      • The story is in the news paper clipping next to the photo. The guy who took the photo worked for the news paper and entered this pic in a still photo competition after blowing it up. It is of a 1968 sporty which crashed in 1970 and the guy lived. I thought the pic was an awesome site, it makes me pay attention a little more when out on a ride.

Found this cool photo on the www, what is the bike on the far left? Looks older than the other bikes, wich means 1907-09?

And then there is the idea that we are here on earth to get a certain amount of things done before we die.
                This is a great theory.

Indeed Barry, thats my thought as well, but I`m no expert and hence I would like other to give their opinion.

Now that shot is a real jewel!! I took the liberty of isolating the bike you referred to. I'm guessing you may be able to identify it now......

No expert here either, but I see the cases on the left-hand bike are 6 bolt.

                          • Am I right in assuming the two bikes to the left of the ?07 Harley are Excelsior Autocycles ?? the one near the center has no exhaust , wonder what the story is ?? or do I need better glasses ?? see pic ----

                            • Ken... I'm thinking you're right on the Excelsior Autocycle notion... I can't quite see what's going on with the exhaust but it does seem to be lacking one...

                                Hi Doug,
I see an eight bolt motor.
Draw an imaginary line down the center of the cylinder, and I believe I count 4 bolts on one side. Too bad the rider is covering up so much detail.
                                Nice picture though !!
