Here's my 35VLDD 80 restored as a California Highway Patrol pursuit bike. Vanity items are the cadmium plated wheel rims and the aluminum 7-bolt cylinder heads. 1935/36 CHP bikes continued with the front tool box so that they could mount the made-in-California right hand Hedberg rear siren. Does anyone have a photo of the California Highway Patrol VL with a sidecar painted white.

I don't know if the sidecar had decorative slits (I don't know the correct English name for the black stripes)
