    Hi -- The '14s. '15s, and Series 16s (built from late 1915 to very early 1916, when the Series 17 was introduced) also had the spark on the left side of the tank. You're right about the footboards; also the '14s had the clutch on the drive shaft rather than the counter shaft. The '12s are easily distinguished by their tank panel without the dark outer stripe.
