Dear Steve, that #1 bike looks like a 1936 VL from that big horseshoe design on the tank. Bikes 1, 2 and 4 look to have the Cycleray headlamp that came out in 1935. Bike 4 looks to have the bar and shield horn face which was first used in 1936. There are no knuckleheads in the photo so I'd guess 1936/37. Ah, the fun they must have had!
