The Indian((40's Scout?)jumping that wide gap, ramp to ramp is more impressive to me than the driving through flaming boards gags,
I wonder how the landing went.
    Thanks for posting.

    • Because I my time is rarely my own, Folks,...

I must post clusters of pics somewhat sorted by theme.

        • Spot the Ball Contest. Classic Bike ran a picture similar to this & offered a vintage restored motorcycle to the person that came closest to the center of the ball.
This is just for bragging rights.

          • Picture #2 in post 2343 is of the Capital City Motorcycle Club of Sacramento. Here is another picture of the team

Capital City Motorcycle Club motorcycle polo team, Sacramento, 1938.jpg

And here is a picture of members Armando Magri, Joe Sarkees, and others playing motorcycle polo in the Sutter Buttes, 1930s, near Sacramento.

And from the other side of the country, here are a couple labeled "Polo game, Gypsy Tour, Brainerd 6-19-1927"

              • Pat and Finnigan Spear worked for Dudley Perkins H-D in San Francisco and built some of the best Cut-down J models. The Capitol City MC is still going strong here in Sacramento and their 1938 club house it just blocks away. Magri and the boys playing around at Sutter Buttes were members of the original Fort Sutter MC that morphed into the AMCA Fort Sutter Chapter in 1982. FYI

PS: I've been trying to upload a huge Capitol panorama pic, but even cut in half for the site to accept it, the final post makes it even smaller when viewed, so I deleted.

Fifty years ago in my home town a Thrill Show came and their normal fire wall guy developed an appendicitis so they asked for volunteers to ride thru the wall of fire. A friend of mine volunteered to do it. The owner of the show told him don't be afraid to wait because the longer you let the flames burn the weaker the wood is and the bigger the 'splash' of fire will be when you ride thru it. The wood was also severely precut ahead of time. Jerry.

Is there really a correct answer, *M.A.D.*?

Or can I just make one up?
