The lower picture in 2297 is a 1930 VL with the twin headlamps, round toolbox and Klaxon 11 horn as for the 1929 JD, but with the new flathead engine.

Thanks Cotten and the top picture in 2299 looks like a 1934 VL, with the new Y-manifold, one year long white grips, no 1935 rear toolbox and last year Motolamp headlight. More guesswork on the next picture down, but it could be a 1929 JD with (maybe) the four pipe muffler, oiler cover, twin headlights and I-beam forks.
