I am interested in the deviated prints as well. My serial number falls in the grey zone.

[Speeding Big Twin]

A few days ago I received an email from Debra at H-D Customer Service in response to the letter I sent the factory in October. She attached their list of antique literature but I already have seven of those publications and the other three don’t cover 1954 or Panheads in general. Debra said they don’t have drawings of part #47000-40A. I thanked her for the response.

The search continues.
