any of you fellas know the correct finish for a 1942 ss cylinder ? paint or nickle and also i could use some info on locating a set of bonneville pistons also for ss thanks in advance t-bone

Not sure on the correct finish on the cyl for a 42 but our 41 sport scout is nickel plated.

I have bought Bonnie scout pistons from Jacob Junker in the past, he sells on vintage cycle bay.

Have you checked with Rocky on the bonnie pistons?

thanks, rocky had the pistons. does 4 or 5 thousanths clearance sound about right?
