    It broke on the hinge, unreal as it was all mounted and happen while I was driving down the road last night. This rear fender came from Jerry Greers who inturn got it from Matt Blake at Iron Horse. So, I am going to take pics today and than show Matt and Todd both. It my honest opinion its unexceptable at $400 for a fender. The upper fender was scratched a tiny bit.

    I road the Scout today for the First time about 6 miles, all went well. I have a few small adjustments too make. The rear hinge on the fender broke, so I will be sending an email to the Company i got it from and hopefully the manufacture will correct this? Anyway, here she is minus the speedo cable, speedo drive, chain guard and crash bars. Its getting much closer.

    The bike now runs, I started it today. I havent made any adjustments at all so I havent ridden the bike but I will tomorrow. So far its running very well and pumping oil good.

    you do realize that I will have to inspect that bike, to make sure it meets AMCA judging standards. should not take too long, only 2 or 3 years

    Mike Dunns 1939 Sport Scout

    Well the motor is almost finished. I am about 2 days away from finishing it.I have pictures of it assembled with no heads and they will be posted as well.






    More pictures too come tomorrow night. I have added Honda XL 250 pistons, Bonneville Cams, 47" Chief Flywheels. This motor is now around 900cc's.

    The guy who painted my bike is a local painter here in Corona CA and he works for a paint company, so he knows his paints well. His name is Ed Aguilar, email him and ask him.
