I have bought a Sport Scout basket 80%. Frame appears to be a 40 hardtail. Has cast for side stand. But what has me stumped is the eng. case is stamped 1577. No prefix letters? The numbers are centered on the blank. What are these cases from? Can anyone help me.
I'm not looking to build a big dollar machine. I just want to put this one back on the road -with a little bit of extra zip, to give the Chiefs and HD 45s a run for the money. *It had been stashed away for a long, long time.
Has barrel spring and bones on Fr fork. Script on primary.
I will show some pictures when I get some more time to play with the new toy. It is resting out at the hay farm.
I would have been super happy if it was Knuckle Head, a JD, WL or a HD 45. Sometimes you cross your fingers and latch onto what you can get. I was just super lucky, blessed, fortunate in this instance.
Next I'll be hopeing for a teenage something twin. Ahhhh...motorcycle that is.
