cant find info on whether a mesinger 3 or 4 is correct for a high number 29 101 scout, anyone know? thanks

Mesinger 3 is what you see most often, but apparently it was possible to order a Mesinger 4....they look the same but the 4 may be a small bit longer and small bit wider.

Chris, have you purchased the 101 Shop Manual (aka R&O) from the 101 Association? It shows both Mesinger 3 and 4 but doesn't identify which one is proper for which year of manufacture, but either 3 or 4 is correct for any 101.

yes i got the manual. , some things are not specified to clearly such as the seats, thanks for the info
