  • FOD crankcases

I have some FOD stamped cases.
Are these scout, sportscout or military scout?

What exactly is the difference between sportscout and scout?Except the crankcasenumber?

Trying to sort out my indianparts/projectbikes before I trade/sell them.

    maybe FDO, ie. 640- 1940, 45ci.
Production number will show what batch and where it went.
741 cases had timing hole above main - also 37 ci. smaller displ.

I'm in need of base studs, lifters, cams, need Chief stuff? I got it!

You have cases that go from 1800 to 2200? Wow! that is amazing!! Personally, I think I would take all four hundred of those cases and make something really monumental (remember the mental) like a huge windchime or maybe a fence on your property. At least take a picture of the pile before you separate them.
