    Serial # stamps

    Can anyone post a pic of an example of the lettering for a 1940 Indian serial #? Not a full serial #, but would like to compare with a pic I have received for a bike I am interested in. It is stamped FDO, but the F is not styled like on my 48, the D almost looks like an O, and the O looks like a zero.
