    Hello-
New Indian owner who is restoring a 1941 Military 741.
Can't figure out how to get the clutch sprocket to remove from the outer primary cover. Someone told me to stick it in the oven at 250 degrees.
But how long and then what? It looks like there is a nut but I can't get any tool to get ahold of it.
    pic enclosed.

    thanks, JK

What your arrow is pointing to, is a part of the bearing. I would use a hand held torch and heat it up, then use a soft dead blow hammer and hit the part of the clutch that protrude out of the bearing.
