slotted nuts for wheel bearing 741

Hello all-
I'm in process of rebuilding an Indian Military 741. I'm working on the front and rear wheels. Both have these slotted nuts (see pic). I'm trying to figure out what kind of tool to use and where I can get the tool. I realize I can probably use some heavy duty vice grips but I would like to use the correct wrench if possible.
Can any one please guide me?
