    101 Scout Racer

My Dad picked this up about a year ago from the original owner's family. I know you scout guys would enjoy photos as these early original bikes can sometimes be hard to come by. Scout 1.JPGScout 2.JPGScout 3.JPGScout 4.JPG

Very cool, it would be fun to hear the history of the machine from that family. I often wonder how any of these old machies have survived. What's your plans for it? does it run? thanks for sharing.

We've had it running, but we are waiting on a few more parts. Once the bike is mechanically ready, we will leave the rest as is.

Cool bike, it's good that you're leaving it as is.

Why did you refer to it as a "scout racer". Looks like a regular road model to me.

Because it is a "Papoose" scout racer. It has a bored out motor. Was supposedly used as a race bike by the original owners.
