  • Scout 101 SS Cylinders?

I am in process of rebuilding a -29 101 Scout. Saw some pictures of other 101´s with Sport Scout cylinders. Original cylinder could be used, but two SS cylinders (40-42) are left over from another project, so why not?
Any one out there who has got any tips or experience from doing this? As far as I can see from making a mock up is that transmission tower will hit the rear cylinder and exhaust has to make a sharp bend over the chainguard...
The shifter has to be modified as well.
Guess using earlier Sport Scout Cylinders would be easier?
Since everything now starts to leave its original I will put in a harley 45´flywheel and put on a Linkert M88.
    Any help is appreciated, thanks

My son and i just started working on a 29 101 scout the uphill climb to locate usable parts needed at first appearances quite steep...first off our frame needs the kicker post casting...in it's long life someone cut it out to make room for some other engine and transmission any help in this department would be welcomed...
      Thank you
