Distributor cap for Indian 841

I started a thread under "Electrical" asking for help in locating a distributor cap for a model 841. I am mentioning it here just in case someone might not have seen it there. I have contacted a distributor cap manufacturer in Canada as one of the responding members suggested, but I have not heard from that company yet.

Please help me if you can.

I hope it is OK to cross-reference a thread like this. I am bit new here; so, please bear with me.

found one!

I found a distributor cap that almost fit my 841's distributor. After a machinist shaved it a bit, it fits and works. It is for a 4 cylinder, but my V twin doesn't seem to mind.

After a more extensive renovation of the engine, I'll report how well it works. At least the distributor cap is no longer the weakest link in this bike's chain.
