Engine ID & Info Needed

A good friend has picked up this weird Indian motor. We are looking for information about the distributor with the wire running to the magneto. Anything you know about this type of motor will be appreciated.

Thanks Paul, I would seem these Indian stationary engines are rare...You are the only feedback to date. My friend that has the motor, is very talented and no doubt will get it running anyway, but history would sure be neat to read about.
