Indian spotlights…early 50’s?

Hello all you Indian experts, I’m going through my fathers stash getting ready for Wauseon and came across stuff I can’t identify. For example these spotlights. My father marked the box NOS Indian, and they were hermetically sealed in newspaper from the 1980s so they haven’t seen the light of day in a while. They look different then the usual Unity style spotlights cause they are much flatter (thinner?). Here are some pictures…

They are definitely Indian, they stamped on top

I think they are from 1949?, when the vertical twins came out? I’m gonna post some more pictures…

I think you can see in this picture from Hatfields restoration book (photo credit to him) this picture of reportedly a 49 Chief, the spotlights in the picture seem to have the same “nipples” on the front…

I also found this picture in Hatfields book ( photo credit to him) of a vertical twin with these lights?….

I don’t have an accessory catalog from this era, and surprisingly neither did my father, so could somebody enlighten me about these?

i had a set of those very same lamps on my '48 Chief, but they lens was yellow, fog lamp.

I have a set on a cross bar. I was told?? vertical bike.

I did have a set many years back such as D,A. Bagin describes. I sold em on Flea Bay after kicking em around the shop for years.
