Hi everyone, I have some questions in regards to '15 3 speed gearboxes.
As you can see in the pics there are 2 variations on the main case, one with and one without a hole. In the case of the one with the hole it is for removing a grub screw holding the selector fork to the shaft.
There are also pics of 2 different end covers, one shows a female thread and the other a male thread for a cover over the end of the selector shaft. The inside of this is also different. What purpose does the "ramp" serve on the one with the pinned insert?
Does anyone know why there were these differences, are they perhaps early and late versions, if so which is which.
I look forward to your replies.
Cheers Steve
