  • Mystery (To me!) Manifolds

I have a couple what I think are Indian manifolds here, but can someone tell me what year and model they are from?

    I'm just guessin', Wes,..

But the far upper left looks like Excelsior, the bottom left looks like early thirties' Chief, and the bottom right resembles PowerPlus.

    But I could be wrong.

The bottom right is similar to Powerplus but I think it is 1915 Hedstrom.

Can you take a better pic of the Hedstrom for posterity, Wes?

The casting seems to have more contour than a PP, and one will never cross my benches, Thanks!

              Thanks again, Wes,..

It closely resembles this '14 manifold (as per the owner, at least.)

Powerplus's appear to have a bulge in the middle, rather than a crease:

And so does this reputed "Hedstrom Special" in my pic collection, but different...

              I'm just guessing,...

1914 and earlier used Hedstrom carbs and did not have the 3 bolt carb mount. The idle circuit on the Hedstrom was external anf entered the manifold at the T hedstrom carb 2 001.jpg
