Hedstrom Indian Gearboxes

Can someone please tell me how to differentiate if a Indian Hedstrom gearbox case is 2 or 3 speed, ideally with pictures

Further to this it appears to me that a '15 gearbox shell is the same (almost) as a powerplus shell. Are the inners the same ?
