1914 single speed to 3-speed...

I have a '14 Twin that was originally a single speed, but when I bought it it had a 3 speed bolted to the frame. As I'm going through things and starting to collect some of the missing bits I'm realizing there are some things that aren't lining up... The single had a foot operated brake on the left side, which is where I would need to have the pedal for the clutch operation with the three speed. Is it best just to look for a proper rear hub with the brake on the correct side? Can I just reverse the single speed hub (and sprocket) so the brake is on the right? Could I put on a hand brake control and leave the brake where it is? Or is there another way to get this all to work together? Any help (or photos!) would be awesomely appreciated.

I think I've decided to put on a 15 rear hub, which will have things where I need them to be.

Does this mean that you have a 3 speed transmission for sale?

Nope. It means I'm switching out my 2 sprocket, single speed rear hub for a single sprocket, three speed rear hub so I can keep and use my three speed trans. I've already traded the rear hub for the parts I need.
