38 Jr. Scout Fork Dampers

This bike is missing both fork dampers. I haven't been able to locate a source for NOS or reproduction pieces.

I would appreciate advice on possible sources or even reasonable substitutions. A photo of the correct dampers on a bike would also be very welcome.

Try Jerry Greer I believe he has repros Advertises in the magazine

I have already looked through Greer's online catalog, but the dampers are distinctly absent from the 38 Jr. Scout selections. I was asking here in case someone knew whether ones from other bikes (741, Sport Scout, etc.) might be close enough to work.
