I have only had my hands on one complete switch. The metal housing you can find anytime. The baseball bat style toggle switch, next to impossible. They were a total pice of crap inside. I got one two years ago- a friend had one on a $5 table and just gave it to me. Said he didn't need it and didn't care what it was. Every other one I have seen was broken. Amazingly, they show up more on European bikes because of that French order at the start of WWII. When they are eventually photograghed, you will understand why they just fell apart.

This bike http://www.flickr.com/photos/billburris/2461006939/ is in a museum about six hours away from me. I've got photos of it somewhere but I know zeroing in on the plug would not have crossed my mind. Way to go Phillie.... now I'm obsessed!!!Cory Othen

Never mind my random notion of a Chief head on the other side of that plug. I talked to a buddy of mine that has a few of that style and the other side looks exactly like the angle visible in the photo. You probably already knew that Phillie....Cory Othen

I thought so Cory. I know that one was original to the bike because the owner was talking about it with someone that day. It sounded like he has had the bike for a long time. I think I took a bunch of spark plug pics at Rhinebeck this past year so check that gallery too. Lots of fun for sure, I always get home and forgot to take a pic of something though, I need to start making a list!!

Here is the rendition of the Laughing Indian my friend tattooed on my leg. This wasn't the plug I had in mind but I love this one just as well!
