My friend Mark and I did that at Oley and got laughed at, and yelled at. Mark was on an Indian Chief and I was riding my '51Pan.

Hey, I remember when Marc did that with his Green Chief! I had to get it up the hill for him. It was a muddy mess, and everyone thought that I did it! Guess I missed you on the pan that time.

Come on Bob, you know they are only doing it to protect us from ourselves.... Seriously though, the safety police have ruined a lot of things and really have a hard time letting an individual think for themselves.

In the Glenn Curtiss Museum is an unrestored '36 Chief sidehack off-road racer, complete with a pic of it in a race way back when with the hack passenger pushing as they ford a creek. I was born in the hospital a couple miles up the road from the new Museum- a lot bigger than the old one in town

Louie, I also saw that and got all excited until I did a Goggle map and found out the place is in the middle of nowhere NY. I figured the wife and I could make a day trip out of it this weekend. This is when you realize how big NY is. 500 miles round trip from the big toilet. Bob L
