41 Four Valve Clearances

Anyone know the valve clearance specs on a 1941 Four? I believe the exhaust is .006 on cyl 1&2 and .008 on cyl 3&4, but I have no idea on the intakes? If the exhaust is correct, then I assume the intakes would be around .004 1&2 and .006 on 3&4. Any input would be great?

Indian 4 valve clearances

I have always set mine by the book with .006 for the exhaust and .002 for the intakes. I set the front and rear cylinders the same. These settings have proved to be fine. Tom

Indian Four Valve Settings

I set my 440 exhaust at .006 for 1&2 and .008 for 3&4. All intakes are set at .002 per the book. Some old mechanics will add a thousandth for good measure. No problems ever at these settings.
