    Early Ace Rocker Cover

On my newly acquired '22 Ace motor, the rocker covers look to have oil access holes in the top.
(At least I am guessing this is what they are for...)

Going to attempt to attach a pic - Wish me luck

Additionally, there is no felt inside the mousetrap access.

I have been scrounging every pic of an early Ace that I can find, but have yet to see this type of rocker cover - that has these oil holes.

    Does anyone recognize these?
    Are these original?
also... Should there be felt glued inside?... Or do these holes negate the need?

    Thanks for the help all.

Have a look at this thread... plenty of good pictures and motors here.

        Appreciate the response, Mike!
That Frickr has some really great Ace pics.

        I'll take a good look.

Try posting this on the Hen KJ forum. There are bunch of Ace experts, like Doug Strange, that hang out there.

Think I'll do just that, Harley - and I'll check in with some other great boards as well...

Just thought I'd try here first, as I saw some recent threads on Fours lately (great info, all! - Thanks for that).

            Appreciate everyone's help.
