Looking for any nformation on the cast aluminum heat shields for the early 4s. Can anyone shed light as to when they were offered, ad copy or Accessory Catlog copy? Not listed in early Indian Ace or 401 parts books. The casting has only 3 mounting tabs, easily broken, can see why they did not survive.

I only know of 3, first saw one back in 2004 on Howard Wagner's 401. Frustrating to align and attach, probably was more frustrating when the bike was hot, broke down, you needed to change plugs.......1930 and dirt was blowing like crazy, it ended up in the ditchComment
