Doubt you can save old wires. But you may be able to at least save a pattern.
Rhode Island Wiring has all kinds of old harnesses -- including for MC. If it "was" a harness, they may be able to supply it. If not, you can buy the raw materials and make your own harness. Their supplies catalog lists all the old vintage wiring bits.
I would be surprised if Greer or Starklite do not sell a wiring kit for each year of prewar Indian. As far as what goes where/routing... Can't help you there if you want exactly original. But I am sure there is a resource somewhere.
