hi folks
I want to take apart the front shock part of my 1918 Henderson to have a bit of a tidy up in this area.
Dunno what to expect inside therefore dunno what sort of jig to make up to take the tension of the cap so i can undo it.
I'm sure there will be two springs in there, compression and rebound. Does anybody have one in bits they can photograph etc or draw a simple layout please.
I recently took my ACE one apart but they also work in the reverse direction to the early Henderson, ie the whole unit compressed when the bike went over a bump whereas this bike the whole unit extends.
To add extra points for difficulty this is an original paint bike so trying to avoid any heat etc near it
thanks
