Cool photo Chris, I wish there was more of it - looks to me like it's a four cylinder back there. It would be fun to see more, looks like a sterring wheel too ?

I'm agreeing with Tom in the cool photo department. It looks like a '40-'42 four cylinder.

I agree that it looks like a late Indian 4, and a very pretty girl; but what in the hell is the rest of it ? Great picture Chris.

            Kevin,
I have had a '46 Chief since the '70's. It is in storage in Guadalajara. But my real prize is my 1951 original paint Indian Princess bicycle.

It is shown on eBay now in a listing for a pennant. The seller say that it, and a picture of the owners behind the counter, will be for sale soon. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120681194069

Very cool Four Cylinder Chief! A good friend bought one of those a few years back. Those are very rare. Here is an equally rare single cylinder Chief. My hat is off to our Senior Judge.

Obviously I don't know squat about Indians.
