1947 Chief Production Numbers

Can someone tell me about how many chiefs were produced in 1947. I'm trying to decide if mine should have the 48 style side stand on it or not.

I have seen numbers as high as 12,xxx. 1947 was a big year for Chief production (mine is 9xxx)
