  • Indian Hoyt ammeters

On the Hoyt ammeter 41 to early 46, did Indian ever make with a plastic lense? Only reason I ask is I found one in a pile of stuff that is definately an original body and face but it has a plastic lense in it (but it does not appear to have ever have been opened). I thought all were glass and I assume probably were all glass but before I open it and put glass in it, I wanted to make sure. Thanks and Happy Holidays to all!
