36 front wheel brake backing plate

Part of a long project is not locating parts that have been put away for a few years. In my case I have lost my front wheel brake backing plate for my 36 four which is the same as a chief wheel. Here is a question someone may be able to answer for me. Will the 37 brake backing plate work on a 36 wheel, as I have one of these.Thanks Stan

Stan, I think it would work, but would not be correct. The backing plate you need is part number 85547, and the one you have is part number 75031. I think the size is the same, but would not cut it in judging.
