  • Finished 1932 Chief

Hello everyone. Just wanted to show a couple of photos of my finished bike. I've been asking questions here for a few years, so wanted to post a few pics on this "Chief" thread instead of the "pictures" thread. I want to thank Alex B, Gene H, and Dave H for all of their input and guidance along the way. Couldn't have done it without you. I wanted to thank all of you here on the AMCA chat forum as well for answering questions and helping with sourcing parts since I started this project a few years ago.. This was my first bike to restore, and I learned a ton...thanks to all of you. I will be at Wauseon with the '32. I will also be on the lookout for more parts for my next project, which is a '30 101 scout that I recently purchased. Hopefully a Schebler DLX64 is floating around. Thanks again everyone.

Great job Brent, it is a fantastic bike! You did an outstanding job of researching the 32 Chief, I'm amazed at what you were able to dig up! More judging, then I hope you will ride it!

                Congratulations Brent,
Absolutely stunning, definitely a show stopper (and winner).
You will really enjoy restoring and riding your '30 101 too.
Thank you for posting the pictures.

Hi Brent, Bike looks great!! How about bringing it to Davenport? Be good to see you again, this time with the bike.

Thanks for everyone's comments!, I appreciate it. Yes, I think my Dad (Harry) would love to know that I am carrying on the tradition. As for Davenport, yes I will be bringing the '32 there. As for the '36 Chief, no it isn't coming to Wauseon with me as I'm actually going to try to sell it soon. I didn't restore that one, Elmer Lower did,
