Tread pattern not specified.

If you have the correct 1931 drop center rims on your 31 Chief, the correct tire size is 400-19. Just an FYI, the 30 and 31 Chief used 19" drop center rims and to my knowledge, this is the only year Indian used this size rim. I used Coker diamond tread 400-19 tires on my 31 chief, as well as the 1930 wheels I built up for my 24 Chief sidecar cannonball rig. They are decent tires, but pretty soft, so not a high mileage tire, but in my opinion, the best looking ones available.
