  • Front hollow axle identification

    Hello,
I removed the front hollow axle from what I believed to be a 1936 wheel. I ordered a new axle from Greer's without thinking too much about it. When I received the new axle from Greer's I discovered the axle I removed is a larger diameter. I tried researching online to find out what wheel may use the larger diameter axle, but no luck. The axle on the right is what I removed compared to the new axle. Can anyone help identify what wheel may use this larger diameter axle?
    Thank you!

Well blow me down Aaron, I am going through the same problem on my 35 , I had an old Jerry Greer book which I was able to find that my wheel has been modified for larger bearing and my holy axle is like your one , can't tell if the holy axle has been home made but am going to make do with what I have. Are your wheel bearing as per Jerry Greer site?? I have a few more things to sort out on my wheel too , Rob
