Hello all. I have attached what I think is the correct wiring diagram for '32 chief/4. The horn wires state that the cloth color is "blue". Does it mean that the outer cloth material is all blue, could it mean a black wire with blue highlights, or could it mean a blue wire with black highlights? Just trying to be as accurate as I can be. Thanks for your thoughts.

Brent, I would say solid blue wire, no tracer. My reference is the 101 manual, your 32 isn't much different!
Looking at the diagram closely though, you may have another issue....... The mag ground wire, labeled for the 4 cyl, appears to connect to the same terminal as the power wire for your battery ignition system. This is a problem!!!! Of course the mag models (Chief, or 4) would have a wire coming from the mag to the switch that gets grounded when in the OFF position, to kill the engine. However, your battery ignition system is different in that when OFF, nothing is connected to that wire, no ground or power connected. When in the ON position, there needs to be 6 volt + connected to that wire to feed the ignition system. So, perhaps some research is in order. Study the parts book and see if there are 2 different switches, one for mag, one for battery models. If so, time to hunt again...... If not, then the diagram appears to be wrong. You'll need to do some testing for continuity and find which terminal will feed power to the ignition in the ON position, as well as DIM and BRIGHT. See you at Davenport! Bring the wiring diagram, switch and a test meter along if you can't figure it out.
