53 chief tanks

G day everyone, I would like to know if the 1953 chief tanks are a 1 year only or did they come out earlier, cheers Rob

Reading from my copy of Hatfields Restoration Guide page 183 Chart 1.19 External Changes on 1952-53 Domestic Models

"tanks narrower at rear"
"tanks decorative panels"
"tank, tank caps painted (no change in FN)"

Not only are the 52-53 tanks narrower at the rear but they are brazed rather than soldered.
