got a set of injin cases on ebay [4618944260 ] ,was told they were first cases for that year , by engine boss numbers -cda101 / now dont know nothing 'bout injins so figured you guys would have some info on 'em

Well flthead.......they're definitely '41's but as to being the first off the line somebody a little wiser may be able to answer that.......

you definetly have the first engine off the line in 1941.
Indian started their numbers with"101" once they started this type of numbering. the "CDA" is for
"C" = chief model
"D" = 4 decade
"A" = 1 year
on the original frame it would read 341101
now all you need to do is find the frame
