  • 28 Indian Big Chief rebuild help - need exhaust and other pieces

I have a 1928 Indian Big Chief I'm trying to rebuild and need an exhaust. Does anyone have any for sale? Parts and pieces of one for sale? Or any other machines that have an exhaust system close to this one that I could easily modify to fit mine? Not so much worried about the muffler mostly concerned with the down pipes and exhaust. Any advice?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Call? Text? Send pics????

    thanks, Joe

Bruce Mason in Ohio was making a beautiful exhaust system for 22-31 Chief. Last I heard, he sold all the tooling to Todd @ Jerry Greers. So, I would contact them and see if they have done anything with that.

The axle adjuster screws are the same as Scout and available from Walker Machine, as well as possibly the ferrules for the oil lines. Nice thing about the early Chief is many parts are common to the 101.
