Hello,
Can anyone supply the correct width and length for the generator drive belt on a 1936 Chief? The belt that just broke is only 3/8" wide (I think it should be 1/2" wide) and is so mangled I can't get a good read on the length. It's much shorter than what's used on a late 40's Chief. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
FYI - here's a few pictures of the machine. Totally brush painted including the Indian Head on the tanks. This is the way I purchased it over 30 years ago. I just got it running again after a whole bunch of years just sitting in the basement. My son rode it in the field games at Wauseon this year.
