    47 oil pump

Could someone tell me about the rod or tit that the new oil pump plunger caps have and why the originals don't ? thanks

    Cscott!

From what I remember from discussions upon https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/VirtualIndian/info, the 'tit' was a "bubble-buster", and I thought later pumps had it.

(Been through all my old pumptesting pics without finding an example.)

With today's antifoam oils, I'm not sure its necessary.

Anybody talk to Wilson Plank lately?

He's somebody to ask about the 'tit'.

There's 'tit's on Indian Linkert idle bleed plugs, too.
And Schebler potmetal models had one on the plug at the end of the gallery to the idle bleed, at the flange.

Don't ask me why, because I dunno.
