    1944 Chief engine rebuild

I've just started my engine rebuild and run into a problem, I only seem to be getting 10 thou flywheel endplay, it says in the book that I should be getting no less than 20 thou with the motor sprocket off. I have fitted the smallest 0.057 washers. Is there any way of getting the correct amount of sideplay?

I believe Jerrygreer lists .042 and .052.I also think the factory clearance is 15-30.

Thanks for that, my hard copy of the Greer parts catologue shows .057in as the smallest. Those smaller ones will get me out of trouble.
